Leaving Portland in an Easterly direction we began our drive to Spokane and along the way stopped off at the Multnomah Falls - a small waterfall on teh side of the Columbia River Highway
Pretty stunning and although Tal wasn't overwhelmed (He's been to Iguaza and nothing will beat that) I quite liked this. The bridge is called the Benson Footbridge, named after a guy who did quite a bit of construction in the state; I think our Portland Hotel was named after him too. He does get around...
anyway this was a nice brief stop and it was time to continue driving
